Ted Hansen, CPA

Ted Hansen, CPA, brings broad public accounting experience and a strong background serving privately held businesses, individuals, trusts, partnerships, and S corporations. Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, Ted was a state champion runner, which led to collegiate running opportunities at the University of Wisconsin and Southern Utah University. He earned both his Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Accounting from Southern Utah University and began his accounting career with Arthur Andersen in Las Vegas, where he worked with a diverse range of small, middle-market, and publicly traded clients.

Ted later built his career in the Denver market with Hein & Associates, Grant Thornton, KPMG, and EY. His experience includes both federal and international tax work, as well as serving mid-market businesses and private equity-backed companies, particularly in the real estate and energy sectors. While at KPMG, he completed a six-month rotation in Germany supporting the U.S. Help Desk. At EY, he contributed to one of the largest corporate transactions in history when Vodafone sold its 45% stake in Verizon. Over time, Ted’s work increasingly centered on closely held, locally managed businesses, and his transition came to the merger with Mann & Company was inevitable.

Ted resides in Westminster, Colorado, with his wife, Sharon. He enjoys spending time with family. In addition to his professional work, Ted has been a long-time soccer coach with Broomfield Soccer Club, coaching his sons, Noah and Oliver over the years.  He now coaches at Holy Family High School, where he led the team, with Oliver on it,  to a state championship in his inaugural year as head coach in 2024. He is a nationally certified soccer coach with a U.S. Soccer “C” License through the U.S. Soccer Federation. Ted enjoys skiing, running, and craft brews.  He and Sharon are known to spend a night in playing Catan with their boys or out around town playing poker with friends.

Sharon Hansen, EA

Sharon Hansen, EA, brings a diverse accounting background and extensive experience in tax reporting for high-net-worth individuals. A Colorado native from Pueblo, Sharon earned her accounting degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She began her career with Arthur Andersen in Las Vegas and Denver before transitioning to Newmont Mining Corporation, where she further developed her expertise. She later served as a project accountant for a real estate firm specializing in apartment-to-condominium conversions. Sharon is an Enrolled Agent, authorized to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service.

Sharon resides in Westminster, Colorado, with her husband, Ted. She values time with her family and is especially proud of her sons, Noah and Oliver. Oliver is continuing his football career at Western Colorado University, and Noah is pursuing studies in air traffic control at Aims Community College.  Sharon loves to play poker and beat the boys at Catan!
